Bruno? Don't know the guy, and I wouldn't tell you about him even if I did! This ludicrously catchy anthem from Disney's 2021 animated feature, Encanto, proves to be just as much of an Ohrwurm when dubbed into German. The protagonist and younger sister of the magical family of Madrigal, Mirabel, has heard many a rumour about her long lost, prophetic brother "Bruno", and no one seems keen to tell her much beyond their own vague rumours on the mysterious figure. So get ready to trot out your cumbia to the song's clever polyphony, all whilst secretly stowing away a litany of literary vocabulary regarding prophecies, sounds and relationships.
